I know I haven't been here in a while so I woudln't be surprised if none of you even LOOK into this.
My life aside.... I am writing to you to share a story of a baby with EB. If you look to the very beginning of my blog, you will find info on what EB is. It is a disease that affects 1 in every 50,000 people, newborns to be more specific, as these children are born with incredible pain from blisters and missing skin. The severity of this disease could be compared to third degree burns.
I have a facebook page on which I share stories of those children as I try to spread awareness about EB. Unfortunately, there IS NO CURE. We can only help those children by changing their bandages, and keeping them comfortable. As a mother, I cannot imagine the pain those mothers go through seeing their children in pain and being able to do absolutely NOTHING. I warn you that the story below will break your heart, the pictures attached to this story will make you cry for these babies.
One baby in particular, Easton was born in August. He has severe EB. Various fundraisers are being organized to help Easton's family pay for the hospital stay, bandages, medicine etc. They need all the money they can get. I'm not pressuring anyone into anything. I just can't sit there and do NOTHING. This baby is suffering. He is on constant pain medicine because he is in constant pain, wimpers and cries because of the pain.
Here is his story. Help Save Baby Easton

Poor baby, such a horrific thing to have, I've never even heard of it. Off to check out the page.

Thank you so much. This baby continues to fight every day. He is in a lot of pain and there's very little they can do for him and others in his situation. Thank you for reading.
