A Goddess Gathering.
In the world of celebrities who have access to the best dietitians, chefs, spray tans, nannies and everything a person could want, a 'body after baby' is attainable.
In the world of real moms, who do it all, there's very little time left for getting that 'body after baby'. I can attest to this. I have all the intention in the world to lose weight but ... here comes an excuse.... I don't have time. I don't have the energy. One needs energy to exercise. One needs a stable mind free of stress and long To Do lists to go out for an hour and a half to exercise.
The article I found is on a group of women, moms, who decided to photograph their bodies after having babies. Below is the link to the article and a slide show.
I found this post this morning. Please
click on the link to read.
Let me know what you, the real moms, think about this topic? Should we be ashamed of our bodies or accept the bodies we now have?
Please remember
to go to Top Mommy Blogs and vote for me... If you'd like of course. There's a button on the right. Just click on it and it will take you to the website.
THANK YOU!

lol sorry I visited your other blog and left like a novel in your comment section. I'm just passionate about weight loss and encouragement. Anyhow yes, I agree with you about the celebrities. Most women don't have private chefs, personal trainers, ect. So I have to be my own chef and my own trainer. I juggle a lot, I work, intern, and I'm finishing up my bachelors degree.
ReplyDeleteSome days it's downright exhausting, but it's worth it.
Right after my pregnancy, I visited a site similar to the one your blogging about. I'm thinking about featuring it my next post. It helped me immensely. It let me know I was not alone, and it could be done.
Check it out and let me know what you think

Wow, I Loved it. It opened my eyes to the fact that I'm not the only one!
DeleteI loved that those women were brave enough to do this. I'm paranoid to the point that I will hardly let my husband see me.
I think it's a great idea to share it on your blog. :-)
